In this week’s episode I’m discussing money beliefs, how they’re formed, how to become aware of the money beliefs you have and how to change them.
I want to cover some topics around how we think about money because our thoughts about money can truly change everything for us.
Before I got into coaching, I know that for the longest time, I used to despise rich people. I thought that they neglected their families, they had to tread on people to get their money, and that they were taking my money and I got nothing in return. And so many people believe the same things. But the truth is, believing rich people are terrible isn’t going to help you when you want to start making more money yourself.
Join me on the podcast this week to discover how our negative thoughts about money stop us from reaching our true potential.
Another thing I talked about is how my experience in the real estate industry, specifically as a Realtor and Mortgage Loan Officer, was one of the hardest jobs ever because they essentially sell one of the most expensive things in the world, a home. Not to mention, loan officers basically sell you debt! Big props to my real estate professionals out there.
Our ability to earn money is very much connected to our thoughts about money. It will determine whether we can sell our services and/or save or spend money the way our conscious brain decides to.
I forgot to mention this in the show but our beliefs about money come from our past experiences with money. Money beliefs, however, can be changed by our new choices and actions around wealth.
I help my coaching clients rewire their past beliefs about money using techniques like tapping, repetitive cues, mental rehearsals and visualizations.
